addition to long and short poster beds, Carved twisted ropes frame
the headboard. The tall fluted posters give way to the metal canopy that
continues with the “S” shaping. Carved twisted
ropes on the headboard and the finials of short poster bed naturally
balance off the bun feet of the bed. The tall and massive dresser has its
complimentary tri -fold mirror. The nightstand has curved fronts and the
bronzed dry brushed rosettes, which are found on many of the case pieces.
Serpentine fronts with breakfronts and twisted rope carvings are elements
found on the 5-drawer chest as well as the dresser. The armoire is the
crowning achievement of this group, as we whistle & bell with metal
trims, pyramid wood blocks on doors, carved twisted ropes, bronze dry
brushed hardware, curved drawer fronts on this magnificent design. |
